Just Registered a Domain Name

The last few domain names that I have registered have gone through surprisingly fast.

I just registered a domain name with godaddy domain name registrar and it took about 5 minutes before the domain name was working.

It was not that long ago when it would take 2 or 3 days for a domain to start working after you registered it.  I always hated waiting those couple days after I registered my domain name before I could see it work.

Now as soon as you register it you can upload a file to your hosting service and by that time your domain name will be working.  I don’t know what changed but every time I register a domain name now I really enjoy the process.
